I've been following your blog and figured I'd say hello. Among other things, we share an interest in Australia. I think you could relate to the kangaroo rodeo I've been working on.
Hi, Matt! I'm glad you like my blog and I'm sorry I haven't been updating it lately-- I spend a lot of time commenting over at Consumerist under the same handle: "Fly Girl."
To answer your question, my favorite thing about Australia is how user-friendly it is. Travel is a way of life, a religion for Australians. Because of that, they're super helpful to travelers that are attempting to navigate their country. (They're also super great people to run into anywhere in the world!) Australia is a great country for a first-timer to explore, but it's a great place for the seasoned traveler as well.
I'm your personal travel industry insider: from airlines to hotels to travel agencies, I've done it all. I'm currently a travel consultant (and very frequent traveler!) and it's my personal mission to educate, inform, and empower the traveling masses!

P.S. What is your favorite thing about Australia?
